H-1B visa sponsorship is geographically concentrated in a handful of states. California dominates with 1.68 million filings—more than any other state—followed by Texas (993.6K), New York (779.4K), and New Jersey (534.2K). These four states account for a substantial share of all H-1B worksite locations.
